Why we're different

Mindfulness is already integrated into the provision of many education providers.

We will be working closely with schools, councils and all educational services to provide Samten as a free resource and tool to assist with the Government’s plans to make it part of the national curriculum.

Meditation allows us to quieten the conscious mind thus allowing us to hear and respond to our subconscious mind which is where our creativity lies.

Studies taken with participants of a mindfulness-based stressed reduction (MBSR) course concluded with 89% of respondents reporting improved coping abilities to pain and depression.

Anxiety decreases

Practising daily mediation allows us to deal with negative thoughts and emotions that often cause us anxiety. In reducing these thoughts, the flow of cortisol and adrenaline reduces and our levels of oxytocin increase, flooding us with feelings of unconditional love, calm and security.

I've dipped in and out of mindfulness apps in the past but have found this was one I kept coming back to. Gelong guides some of the sessions himself and introduces other sections which gives the whole program a sense of unity and structure
